Over the past 115 years, Badger has evolved into a full-line distributor of lumber, interior and exterior millwork, cabinets, siding, windows, garage doors, roofing, agricultural and a variety of other quality products perfect for residential and commercial applications.
As Badger Corrugating Company continues to celebrate its 115 years of service, Michael J. Sexauer, CEO, has announced an ownership change. Effective January 1, 2019, Mike’s daughter, Melissa Sexauer-Mlsna (5th generation) and her husband, Brian Mlsna, will take over controlling interest of the company. Along with the employees who own 40% of the company, Melissa and Brian are setting a new course for the future.
For the past 3 years, Brian has served as the company’s President. He thrives on challenge, change and new experiences. His strong commitment to personalized service and building valuable relationships with all stakeholders will continue to assure the company’s success. Brian’s experience in sales, management, as well as knowledge of the industry and strong relationships built with customers and staff, has proven to be the right formula for Badger’s continued growth and success.
Melissa, in her role as Cabinet Sales and Design, brings a wealth of experience in helping customers realize the home of their dreams. In addition, she has taken on a strong, active leadership role in the company’s community involvement activities, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), trade shows, events, and marketing. Through her efforts, she is able to weave a sense of “family” into the fabric of the company and our customers.
As Mike bids the company farewell, he leaves an indelible mark on the lives he has touched over the past 50 years. Since 1985, Mike has led the company by delivering a reputation for quality products and service…a trademark of the Sexauer family legacy and its employee owned business.
